Akkordeon / Handharmonika:
Durch seine Mutter, eine Musiklehrerin, ist er mit Musik aufgewachsen.
Als Akkordeonbauer kennt er sein Instrument auch bestens von innen (2007 Bundessieger im Leistungswettbewerb der deutschen Handwerksjugend).
In und um Hamburg ist er ein gern gesehener Musiker bei verschiedenen Feierlichkeiten und Akkordeonist in diversen Bands und Gruppen.
Gitarre / Gesang:
Schon die ersten musikalischen Blähversuche waren – so erzählt man –
von harmonischer Struktur geprägt.
Später dann Chorgesang beim Hamburger Jugendchor, klassische Gitarre, Singekreis-Leitung in vier Stadtteilen, Erfinder der Mitsinge-Veranstaltung ‚Jubifallerario’ sowie regelmäßige Improvisationen im Gottesdienst, verfestigten den Glauben an die Magie der Töne.
Immer schon der Liedermacherei und den Größen: Seeger, Dylan und Biermann verpflichtet, gibt es diverse eigene Lieder und Instrumentalstücke sowie eine Vielzahl von Gedicht-Vertonungen,frei nach dem Motto: Ohne Gesang wirste krank!
