Im Alter von 14 Jahren kam der Hamburger vom Klavierspiel zum Platten sammeln und bekam bereits zwei Jahre später sein erstes Engagement als DJ. Ab 1990 war er Resident-DJ im legendären Club Soul Kitchen auf der Reeperbahn in Hamburg. Parallel arbeitete er für das Label Soulciety Records und tourte mehrmals mit dem Acid Jazz Band RAD (später Prince und Jay Leno Show) und anderen Soul- und Funk-Größen durch Europa. Bei After-Show-Parties von James Brown, Bobby Byrd und weiteren Acts der Musikszene konnte er viele musikalische Erfahrungen sammeln.
1995 eröffnete er seinen ersten eigenen Musikclub: Das Le Fonque im Hamburger Schanzenviertel. Der Club feierte 2015 Jahr seinen 20. Geburtstag und sollte nicht der einzige Club werden, der unter seinem Management stand. Künstler wie Destinys Child, Jan Delay, Samy Deluxe oder Kid Rock waren Gäste in diesen Clubs. Egal ob Soul, Funk, Jazz, Disco, Reggae, HipHop oder House– er vermischt diese Genres zu einem charismatischen Flow, in dessen Zentrum die Tanzbarkeit steht.

At the age of 14, he started collecting records from playing the piano and got his first engagement as a DJ two years later. From 1990 he was resident DJ at the legendary Club Soul Kitchen on the Reeperbahn in Hamburg. In parallel, he worked for the label Soulciety Records and toured several times with the Acid Jazz Band RAD (later Prince and Jay Leno Show) and other soul and funk greats across Europe. At after-show parties by James Brown, Bobby Byrd and other acts of the music scene, he gained a lot of musical experience.
In 1995 he opened his first own music club: Le Fonque in Hamburg’s Schanzenviertel. The club celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2015 and should not be the only club under its management. Artists like Destiny’s Child, Jan Delay, Samy Deluxe or Kid Rock were guests in these clubs. Whether soul, funk, jazz, disco, reggae, hip-hop or house-music, these genres are mixed into a charismatic flow centered on danceability.
